"We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our goodbye Saigon photo shoot. Charu went above and beyond from start to finish.
She was incredibly accommodating, waking up early to meet us at 6:00 am so we could shoot during our 7-month-old’s first wake window, when she’s at her happiest. A full week before the shoot, Charu took the time to meet with me in person to understand our expectations and the kind of memories we wanted to capture. She also gave thoughtful and practical advice on what to wear, helping us choose the right colors and avoid patterns that wouldn’t photograph well.
In addition to our family photos, she did our professional headshots and was endlessly patient—especially with me, as I struggled to settle on the right hairstyle. Throughout the shoot, Charu made us feel completely at ease, which truly shows in the final photos.

"I love these new pictures I took with Charu Shah Photography! Working with Charu was very easy. Eventually, we took advantage of the "big diffuser" that nature gave us that day and took these wonderful pictures. Charu chatted with me before taking them, thus allowing me time to relax and be myself.
She gave tips on locations and makeup (which is very different from our day to day makeup!). Her calm and efficient manner reassured me that I was in the hands of a professional!time we were together, we took at least 4-5 different versions of background, poses, and smile.

"The best thing about her?
She gets you right for the shoot without making you feel awkward or self conscious in her gentle and subtle way. In fact, she suggested styling tips prior to the photoshoot a few days in advance so that I could be best prepared for the event.
Photo shoot can be a stressful event for some people. To take a good photo, the photographer has to be able to put the subject at ease, besides having good technical skills. Charu has both the ‘heart’ skill and technical skill to make that happen.
